Books

December 31, 2016

We have returned from a two-month absence from home. We traveled to Ohio to allow Nell to spent time with her older brother in his last days, and stayed to spend Christmas with our youngest son and his family. Now it’s back to business:

First, signed copies of The Barn Project can be ordered from me via email at ralphparkerstudio@yahoo.com. Send me your mailing address and the number of copies you want to order. Also let me know if you want it personalized with your name when I sign it. Please do that in the next couple of days, because I’d like to order those books on Monday, January 2. I can order more later, but I would like to get the first batch on their way. Allow 3 to 4 weeks for me to get your signed copy to you. The cost for these is $17.39 US, which includes shipping.

If you’re not concerned with a signed copy, T he Barn Project can be ordered directly from the publisher at http://www.blurb.com/b/7602112-the-barn-project and shipping is much faster.

This is a fun little softback book, 6″ x 9″, with 40 pages. It contains over 50 images of drawings, sketches and paintings of barns in Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas and Texas, with text scattered throughout describing many of them.

The long-promised Gouache Book is nearing completion. I’ll be ordering a test copy soon. So far it is around 60 pages. This is a softback book in the handy 6″ x 9″ format. Much of the information comes from my blog, but there are more demo examples, some expanded and updated text and approximately 100 images.
