Covered Bridge at Evangola

Covered Bridge, 9×12, Gouache

This little bridge sits at Evangola State Park near Irving, NY.  It doesn’t really sit over water, but it’s a nice little bridge.  This piece started as a watercolor one night, and ended up as a gouache painting the next day.  The combination of watercolor and gouache gives it a unique look.

Love the shadows on the roof! Nicely done.

I just love quaint little buildings and bridges like this and I also like the way you paint them! Makes me want to paint too.
