Boat House at Caddo Lake

April 27, 2012

Boat House, 8x10, Gouache

I spent part of Friday painting in the studio.  This one was from a reference photo taken last weekend at Caddo Lake State Park near Marshall, Texas.  We were only there for one day, but I got a lot of reference material for paintings.  I’ve got a couple more in the works.

For those of you who may be new to the blog, this is the studio.  For more explanation, you can visit the travel blog, Back Roads & Brushes, and then this will make sense.

Ralph, The trees and Moss really look good, nice painting. Your Back Roads & Brushes link didn’t work for me.
