You never know…

April 11, 2011

You never know who’s going to see your work.  The GrannyTown Gazette is the newsletter of the Alden Historical Society of Alden, New York.  The April 2011 issue has a brief article referencing the restoration of a Conestoga Wagon at the Clarence Historical Museum.    It was my privilege to allow them to use the little sketch at left to illustrate the article.

Cool! It’s really neat when someone we don’t know notices our work. I like the painting.

    Ralph,
I like the idea that you are trying your hand at different subjects and styles. That’s good for your growth as an artist, to constantly stretch yourself! You, in my opinion, are producing some very good work, and I commend you!

Thanks for sharing your work with us! I shall miss seeing you walking “Hemmi” (sp?) everyday, and having you and Nell for next door neighbors!
    Sincerely,
    Margaret Quin

Margaret, thanks so much. It’s kind of nice to have “fans” right next door. We’ll be around for a while yet. Still lots to do!
