Huffines Art Trails, Richardson, TX, October 23-24

August 31, 2010

I’ve received notification of acceptance for the Huffines Art Trails.  Last time I did this show was twenty years ago.  We used aluminum panels borrowed from the Plano Art Association, and had a tarp tied to trees and a couple of tent poles.  We did the show on Saturday, then woke up on Sunday morning to the sound of thunder and pouring rain.  We raced to the park with hearts thumping.  The tarp we were using had blown off and the booth was a shambles.  The good news was that not a single painting, drawing or print had any damage, even thought the prints, in their plastic envelopes, were sitting in about an inch of water!
